Among other important announcements, Palantir Technologies, a US technology company, will separately introduce its plans to establish its European headquarters for AI development in the UK. Here, the company already has over 800 employees.
The need for the global AI-focused summit comes as regulators across the globe are scrambling to develop rules that govern the use of generative artificial intelligence and machine learning tools. Currently, such platforms can already generate text, images, and even computer code. The impact of this technology is being likened to the transformative nature of the internet.
