The client has developed a technology to form an uneven nano-structure on a solid surface and confirmed that this physical structure enables the continuous expression of high antibacterial/antiviral activity without using cleaning agents such as a surfactant or antibacterial agents such as a photocatalyst.

On the other hand, the client is faced with the problem that no verification technology or knowledge about the elucidation of mechanism exists. The client looks forward to hearing proposals from organizations who will be able to make and verify a hypothesis for the mechanism in discussion with the client by around March 2024.

The client has established a technology for the continuous expression of high antibacterial/antiviral activity by forming a fine uneven structure on the surface of a solid metal.  However, the client faces the problem of no verification technology or knowledge about the mechanism of expressed or improved antibacterial/antiviral activity.

Submissions to this Challenge just be received by Jul 5, 2023.
