Again in 2018, ASUS launched the world’s first tri-band Wi-Fi router offering over 10 Gigabit concurrent Wi-Fi speeds: ROG Rapture GT-AX11000.
It has also launched a new ultrafast wireless router with a new standard of Wi-Fi 6.

What is Modem?
The modem is a combination of two words MO-DEM (MO -Modulator and DEM- Demodulator)
The modem is a networking device that works at the physical layer of the OSI model.
The modem only work is to Modulate and Demodulate signal coming from outside to inside to our network.
Let’s try to understand it simply, as we know that our computer understands only digital signals it does not understand the analog signal.
So, the modem is a mediator it receives data in the analog signal and converts it into Digital signal (computer-readable format).

Feature to look in Wi-Fi routers before you buy
Your Router must have dual-band and more
Nowadays most wireless router comes with at least two bands support.
Wireless routers work on two different bands– 2.4Ghz and 5Hhz. These are bands in which routers broadcast the wireless signals on different frequencies for different purposes.
The 2.4 GHz band provides coverage at a longer range but transmits data at slower speeds whereas 5 GHz band provides less coverage but transmits data at faster speeds.

Thus you can run many services at the same time as online gaming, watching Youtube, and Netflix lag-free.
QoS is also known as traffic shaping it controls the bandwidth priority for different services.
Guest network
This feature is coming along every modern router in the market.
Guest network technology creates a separate network using different names and passwords to connect to the network.

WEP was developed in September 1999.
WEP was supposed to offer the same security level as a wired network.
But this Wi-Fi security protocol was easy to break and hard to configure. So this protocol was abandoned by the Wi-Fi alliance in 2004.
